What I’m adding to my collections (and buying) for spring:
Niche but I recently visited White’s Mercantile and I have found it to be one of the best places to discover cookbooks. Two in my home collection at the moment: The Southern Entertainer’s Cookbook and Once Upon a Country Kitchen.
And now a little of what’s in my Mallorca Collection:
Loewe Rattan bag for summer
This Missoni look alike cover-up set for the beach in Mallorca
Farm Rio bikinis that look like Johanna Ortiz for a quarter of the price
Staud shorts in chocolate brown (I bought the light brown last summer and LIVED in these)
This polka dot dress is so adorable
Striped dress for cocktails and dinner, plus a different, shorter version that I also love.
Jelly sandals for a laid back, elevated accessory.
All the beaded necklaces for the beach. I love this neutral, goes with everything option.
Tell me what you’re shopping for and I’ll make a fun collection for you, too 🙂
What I’m listening to:
Ronan Farrow and Andrew Marantz on Sam Altman’s Trust Problem (Channels with Peter Kafka)
The Fundraising Playbook: Build FOMO & Close Fast (Hot Takes, Big Stakes)
What I’m reading:
Inside Alex Cooper’s Unwell: Tears, Screaming and Employees Looking for the Exit (Bloomberg — Free Link). Filing under how not to run a company!
“If you’re not visible, you’re dead” — Free copy of Business Insider’s article discussing the rise of founder-led content. Feel free to throw me a follow on TikTok while I have you 😉
Dish and Tell by Sarah Jannetti
Rare Medium by Juliette Sibley
The People’s Passport: Such a unique travel newsletter that has the angle of a guest’s POV.
Andrew Yeung’s NL: Every few months, Andrew gives a state of the union on his productivity and AI tech stack. I love it as a way to measure how optimized I am. His most recent one just came out this week.
Where I’m headed:
Bloomsbury Farm: Their U-Pick strawberry season is on and I’m going this weekend. Very excited!
Lion’s Share: New restaurant in our neighborhood that feels like what I’m craving on a Saturday night.
Kase x Noko: Omakase restaurant that we tried last weekend and loved. It’s an experience and we will be back again for a special occasion.
Have a great weekend!
